Are you going through a depression? On a scale from 1 – 10, of course 1 being low, and 10 being high…what is your number? There’s actually three things that shape our emotions. 1. Our physiology & posture, 2. Our mental focus, and 3. Our language.
Let’s start with posture first. If you hang your head and have other negative gestures or body language (e.g. a closed posture) it can send youself into a depression. Your body’s posture and physiology actually causes chemicals to be released which will cause depression.
Next, your mental focus, or
in other words your thinking about negative things will also cause chemicals to be released which create your depression. The trick is to change those thoughts and focus on something positive! Choose something or someone you love!
Your language, if negative
will also cause you to stay in a depression. Your language, believe it or not, also releases chemicals! This includes self talk language! I’ve always taught my kids and my clients you are only as strong as your mind! So it’s important to practice and workout your brain so to speak, to get your mind strong!
Furthermore, sometimes people sub-consciously put themselves into a depression because one or more of their 6 essential needs has become unstable. Want to know more about your six human needs?
